The 2008 event was another exceptional
gathering!! We
had an AMAZING group of VOLUNTEERS!
A large, fantastic core of volunteers
were needed to make sure our
guests have everything they needed. THANK
YOU, volunteers, we had more volunteers, all day,
than we have ever had before!
For the first time
ever, Mike and AnnMarie were able to really visit with guests,
walk around, and keep things flowing, without having to be
actually working a specific area of the event.
EVENTS for
the first time we included ... EQUINE DENTAL TREATMENT!
along with...
Gary Herzog,
nutritionist, speaking on special needs equine feeds;
training demos;
farrier demo;
and more!
We had a smaller than expected but still impressive
turnout in our new community!

EVERYONE LOVES THE...
RIDES
& RAFFLES!

===================================
GREAT
RAFFLES!
Winners who were present at the drawing got to choose their
general raffle prize!

A fabulous "2-person snuggle"
work of art by the famous Lucy Cross... Karen
Kaluf again got a gorgeous
custom made fleece blanket just for the volunteers-only raffle...this year she
outdid even her own history -- this year's throw included a tribute to our
Cheveyo.
AND...tons of other great prizes.
Candace McMaster, as
always, brought us a ton of fantastic raffle prizes, including some really great
stuff for the kids raffles.
hoofprints.com sent us
a box of probably 30 TERRIFIC horsey gifts, including their infamous "30
things not to say to a hot tired farrier" tshirts that were a big success.
We had 2 fantastic
horsehair bracelets, made from Tess and Factor hair!
