1. DONATE YOUR TIME! -- volunteers always needed and welcome. Visit our contact us page, and get in touch to schedule an initial visit to the farm and learn how you can help us to help the horses! 

2. EBAY AND DONATE! eBay has a fantastic program with missionfish.org, where a seller can donate a portion or all of the sale proceeds to charity. We are a listed charity. It's easy! They collect the funds, they pay us. You simply list and sell your item, selecting us as your charity and the desired percentage...and the horses benefit!

3. DONATE R/C HOBBY ITEMS! MODELERS PLEASE NOTE!  Remote control modeling hobby items are particularly appreciated, as our officers' expertise in this area makes the sale of older, unique, and varied hobby items a very viable option to help us help the horses! ANY hobby items you have which are still usable -- even if you consider them "JUNK" -- are gladly accepted!!

4. DONATE SELLABLE ITEMS for us to list on eBay: We sell a variety of small items such as jewelry, etc, on eBay as fundraisers for CWER. Please call at 217-649-7915 to confirm and then ship or drop off any items you may have. Be sure to provide your name and address with the items so we can give you a tax receipt!

6. DONATE HORSE ITEMS: Donations are always needed and graciously accepted and appreciated. Some of the  items regularly needed include:

• HAY!  
• FEED! as well as donations directly to Prairieland Feeds for Purina Feed Products are gladly accepted.

• BUILDING MATERIALS: fencing, stalls, etc, always need work and supplies are greatly appreciated, from 2x4s to post hole diggers! Please see our new farm page for a list of items needed at the new facility.

• HEALTH CARE ITEMS! Wormers, hoof ointments, wound treatments, supplements, bandage materials including vet wrap, bantamine, bute, etc.

• AVON SKIN SO SOFT bath oil, apple cider vinegar, pure citronella oil & eucalyptus -- all used to make natural fly spray!

• TACK! Any horse equipment, bridles, saddles, halters, pony to draft sizes, are always graciously accepted. Items we cannot use may be sold on eBay to raise funds for feed and vet bills. DRAFT SIZE ITEMS ARE ALWAYS IN HIGHEST DEMAND!

 

All are GLADLY accepted to aid in our care of the animals.

Additionally, non-equine related donations are GLADLY accepted as items to be sold to help fund the non-profit rescue.
