Prairielands Feeds NEW STORE GRAND OPENING WEEKEND!
June 10 & 11, 2006, 10AM-3PM each day.... Be sure to come see Tess, Sammie, Rocky, Buddy -- COME RIDE THE CLYDE! The Crosswinds crew could not be more proud ... Prairieland Feeds, a long time supporter of not only our rescue but nonprofit animal groups all over, graciously invited us to provide pony, horse, and draft rides at their biggest event ever, the new store's grand opening!
This year's event was very successful -- raising about $800!
WHEN? June 10/11, 2006 10am - 3PM WHERE? Prairieland Feeds, Route 45/Neil Street, Savoy (just north of the Wal-Mart) WHY? GRAND OPENING of the huge, great new PLF store! Lots to see and do, for animal lovers of all sizes and ages! And even great shopping ideas for those without pets of their own! WHAT? Come and join in the fun! See all the great stuff PLF will have going on. Enjoy a ride on the Budweiser-bred Clydesdale and any/every of our other mounts at the event! Have some spare time? Consider volunteering to help us at this great event! Horse experience is definitely NOT required! We cannot begin to thank Gary and the Prairielands Team, or their fantastic clientele, nearly enough for this incredible generosity. The added visibility is priceless, and the funds raised will make a world of difference this year for our horses. This event, being just two weeks before our own Open House, will really help us make the public aware, and should do TONS to increase our attendance at our event too! PLEASE VOLUNTEER! WE CAN SURE USE YOUR HELP at this event, and at our open house! Contact us for details.
